Our Approach

|
"Without
self-awareness all of our actions are subject to self deception"
Will Schutz
Self awareness is the key emotional competency required in the creation
of a happy life and a successful career. Peak performance - maximum
personal and professional effectiveness - is a function of healthy
self esteem and self confidence.
Teaching workshop participants how to enhance their self
esteem, reduce defensiveness and develop their ability to facilitate
productive and mutually satisfying relationships to get more out
of their lives and work is the central focus of all our developmental
workshops and training events.
Our work is based entirely on the psychological approach created
by Dr. Will Schutz -
FIRO Theory - and the facilitation model created by John
Heron. Our exciting public and in-house programmes have a superb
track record in teaching participants how to quickly tap into their
own resources for achievement, learning and development
We create memorable, exciting and challenging learning experiences.
Participants take away new, usable, practical skills which can be
put to immediate use in their lives and workplaces. Our workshops
are highly participative and interactive with a balance between
theoretical input, skills practice and experiential exploration.
Our goal is to activate each member of our developmental groups
in ways which stimulate not just hearing and sight but also emotions
and feelings. Thus leading to increased self-awareness, self-knowledge
and insight.
Our programmes have an astonishing track record, consequently our
clients can describe the benefits far more eloquently than we can.
We invite you to read of their experiences in the testimonials section.
Our focus is to help you to:
• Create inclusion
and heightened contribution to teamwork
• Address needs for control and
influence
• Create openness and direct communication
in teams and interpersonal relations
• Create the conditions in which
the team can benefit from increased discretionary effort
• Establish Collaborative Networks
• All of which translate into
increased morale, productivity and bottom line performance
The effectiveness of leaders in creating this culture is affected
by their ability to collaborate with others. This is determined
by their self-awareness, their self-esteem and the impact their
behaviour has on others. When leaders are able to create effective
collaborative networks they enable their teams to enhance their
own individual as well as their collective resources, which in turn
impacts on the process of increasing productivity.
